Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use erasearch.com.au (the “website”) or book a free strategy session with Era Search Pty Ltd (ABN 76 695 632 627). We call ourselves “Era”, “we” or “us”. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

These terms don’t cover paid work. If you become a client, our written services agreement (your proposal and its terms) sets out what we’ll do, fees, timing and how either of us can end the arrangement. If that agreement and these terms ever conflict, the agreement wins.

1. Information on this website

The content on this website is general information about search, AI search and our services. It isn’t advice for your specific business. Search engines and AI platforms change how they work often, so some information may be out of date by the time you read it. Talk to us before relying on it for a decision.

2. Results and case studies

The results we show, such as rankings, leads and revenue, are real outcomes from past clients. They’re examples, not promises. Every business starts from a different place, and results depend on your market, competitors, website, reviews, budget and how search platforms behave, much of which nobody controls. We don’t guarantee any particular ranking, mention in an AI answer, traffic, leads or revenue.

Some parts of the website, such as the sample report and the illustrations of our process, use example data to show how things work. These are marked or described as examples.

3. Free strategy sessions

• The strategy session is free and you’re under no obligation to buy anything.
• We may review your website and how your business shows up in Google and AI search before we meet, using publicly available information.
• We only take on businesses we’re confident we can help, so we may decline to book a session or to offer our services.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, use the link in your calendar invite or let us know.
• Anything we share in the session is our general view at the time, based on the information available to us. It isn’t a guarantee of results.

We handle the information you give us in line with our privacy policy.

4. Using the website

You agree not to:

• use the website in a way that breaks the law or anyone else’s rights
• submit false information or someone else’s details in our forms
• try to break into, overload or disrupt the website or its systems, or get around its security or spam protection
• scrape or copy the website’s content in bulk, including to train AI models, without our written permission

5. Intellectual property

We, or the people who license content to us, own the content on this website, including text, design, graphics, logos, images, video and code. You may view it and share links to it. You may not copy, republish or sell it without our written permission. “Era”, “Era Search” and “The Search Growth Engine” are our brand names. Client names and logos belong to their owners.

6. Other websites and services

The website links to, or uses, services run by others, such as Google, Meta and our scheduling tools. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content or how they work. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can’t be excluded.

8. Limits on our liability

We work to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but we provide it as it is. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the website or the free strategy session. Where our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, we limit it to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
